How are my photos uploaded in the Android app?

Photos you add in the Android app are only visible to others after they have been uploaded. The app keeps trying automatically, even when you close the app, and warns you before you lose photos that are still waiting.

1. Add a photo to a Ticket, an Audit or a comment.
2. No connection? The photo waits on your Device. When you are back online, the app uploads the photo by itself.
3. Do you close the app while photos are uploading? The upload continues in the background. You see a notification with the number of photos, for example "N photos uploading". The notification disappears when everything is uploaded. Android may ask you once for permission to show notifications. The upload also works if you do not allow it.
4. Do you remove a project from your phone, or download it again, while photos are still waiting? The app then shows a warning with the number of photos. You can upload first, cancel, or continue anyway.

Please note: if you continue with the removal, the waiting photos are lost for good. Background upload only works if you are logged in and the automatic logout time has not passed. Photos whose file is no longer on your Device cannot be uploaded.
