How do I make adding tickets to questions mandatory?
Adding Tickets or attachments (photos) to questions can be made mandatory for an Audit. You set this up in the template, as follows:
- Log in;
- Select your project;
- Choose the 'Templates' tab;
- Select the right template from the groups on the left, or create a new template;
- Make adding Tickets or attachments mandatory by clicking the labels next to a question.
For each question or category, you can choose what to make mandatory:
- Tickets only
- Attachments only
- Tickets and attachments
- No requirement
Alternatively, you can make adding a ticket or attachments mandatory for an entire category by selecting the labels next to the category name. Once the template is published, it's ready to use.
Please note: If this option is enabled, adding a ticket to an audit question is mandatory. The audit can't be marked as completed until this has been done.
Tip: Have you answered all the questions but still can't mark the signed audit as completed? Does the software take you back to the answered question after clicking "Done"? Check whether there's a red exclamation mark on the ticket icon next to a question. This means you're required to add a ticket.
Important: It's not possible to turn off the ticket requirement in existing audits. This can only be done in the template, for future audits created based on that template. It doesn't work retroactively.
