 How do I move a ticket?

You can move a ticket within the same drawing or to a different drawing.

Moving tickets to another drawing is also possible for multiple tickets at the same time.

This functionality is available with the Pro and Expert licenses.

Via the web application: Move one ticket within the same drawing

  1. Open the drawing where the ticket is located and click on the ticket.
  2. In the pop-up that appears, click the three dots icon.
  3. Select Move ticket.
  4. Click the location on the drawing where you want to move the ticket.
  5. Click Save at the bottom.

The ticket has now been moved. You can see in the ticket timeline that it has been moved.

Via the web application: Move one ticket to another drawing

  1. Open the drawing where the ticket is located and click on the ticket.
  2. In the pop-up that appears, click the three dots icon.
  3. Select Move ticket to other drawing.
  4. Select the drawing you want to move the ticket to and click Move at the top.
  5. Click the desired location in the drawing.
  6. Click Save at the bottom.

The ticket has now been moved. You can see in the ticket timeline that it has been moved.

Via the web application: Move multiple tickets to another drawing

  1. In the ticket list, select the tickets you want to move.
  2. Several icons will appear. Click the Move tickets to other drawing icon.
  3. Select the drawing you want to move the tickets to and click Move.
  4. Choose whether you want to keep the current snapshot or edit it later.

The tickets have now been moved. You can see in the ticket timelines that they have been moved.

 

 Tip: If you choose Update snapshot later in step 4, you can open the ticket later and click Update location on the new drawing. You can then adjust the ticket's location, and a new snapshot will be created automatically. 


 Via the mobile app: Move one ticket within the same drawing

  1. Open the drawing where the ticket is located and tap the ticket.
  2. In the pop-up that appears, tap the three dots icon.
  3. Select Move ticket.
  4. Tap the desired location on the drawing, or drag the ticket to that location.
  5. Tap Save at the top.

  6. Tap Save at the top.

Via the mobile app: Move multiple tickets to another drawing

  1. Open the ticket list and use the Select option in the top left corner to select the tickets you want to move.
  2. Tap the three dots in the top right corner and select Move to other drawing.
  3. Select the drawing you want to move the tickets to and tap Next.
  4. Choose whether you want to keep the current snapshot or edit it later.

The tickets have now been moved. You can see in the ticket timelines that they have been moved.

 

 Tip: If you choose Update snapshot later in step 4, you can open the ticket later and tap Update location screenshot. You can then adjust the ticket's location, and a new snapshot will be created automatically.
