Subprocessors

Dutchview information technology B.V. (Keizerstraat 43, 7411 HE Deventer, the Netherlands) uses the subprocessors below to deliver Ed Controls. Before we add or replace a subprocessor, we notify our customers in advance. A customer can object, as set out in article 8 of our data processing agreement.
Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL
- Purpose: hosting of Ed Controls
- Personal data: all customer data in Ed Controls
- Location: Frankfurt (Germany); monthly backups in Dublin (Ireland)
- Safeguards: ISO/IEC 27001 certified data centres; data stays within the EEA
OVH SAS (OVHcloud)
- Purpose: hosting of Ed Controls from the end of 2026 (planned move from AWS)
- Personal data: all customer data in Ed Controls
- Location: Roubaix and Gravelines (France)
- Safeguards: ISO/IEC 27001 certified data centres; European company, not subject to the US CLOUD Act
The Rocket Science Group LLC (Mailchimp, including Mandrill)
- Purpose: sending invitation and notification emails
- Personal data: name and email address of the recipient
- Location: United States
- Safeguards: EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses (2021)
HubSpot, Inc.
- Purpose: handling support tickets
- Personal data: name, email address and the content of the ticket
- Location: EU region (Frankfurt, Germany); access from the United States is possible for support
- Safeguards: EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses (2021)
